Subtle Ecstasy: Loving From Your Center Column
Create a Heart Bond
•
45m
This 46-minute practice from the May 2022 Teacher Training Intensive contains many foundational elements–breath synchronization, slowing down, relaxing out of performing and striving, coming back into connection when you drift, opening and energizing the central column, and following the pulse of Love–you and a partner could deepen into this one practice for years to come.
For the feminine, this is a practice of surrendering the breath, opening the body, revealing whatever sounds or emotions want to come through you, and allowing yourself to be witnessed, felt, and energetically permeated (only to the degree that you choose). Then, from this place of deep, intimate, and energetic connection, you will offer a texture of love to your masculine partner that will allow him to heal the world.
For the masculine, this is a practice of relaxing into a grounded, stable presence, leading the breath, cultivating the sensitivity of your awareness, feeling every subtle change, every pulse, every shudder in your partner’s energy–loving her/him/them so deeply with your conscious breath and open heart that their nervous system unwinds and heals.
Who this practice is for:
This practice is suitable for beginners, intermediate, or advanced practitioners. One partner will play the masculine role and one partner will play the feminine role.
Practice setup:
The entire practice will be done in a seated position. This could be either in comfortable chairs or on meditation cushions.
