You Are Her Safe Harbour

You witness her move through the endless waves of emotion—some soft and easy to hold, others fierce and overwhelming. You long to expand your capacity, to be the unwavering presence she can trust when the storm rises. You desire to open your heart, feel what she needs, and respond—not from reaction, but from deep love. To hold space for her full expression so that she can surrender into something greater.
You want to be her safe harbour—the place where she can land, rest, and release. And yet, even with this desire alive in you, you may find yourself unsure where to begin.
In this 60-minute practice from Fierce Love (Austin, 2024), John guides participants through a partner practice where the masculine partner holds space for the feminine partner to clear, express, and soften into his unwavering presence. When her nervous system feels met—when she trusts that she can bring all of herself and still be held—her body, breath, and heart relax into spaciousness. And in that spaciousness, love deepens.
Your desire to hold her fully is a gift. This is your invitation to meet her, not just when it is easy, but in the depth of her expression. To stand in the storm, not as resistance, but as presence. To be her safe harbour, not by controlling the waves, but by holding your ground in love.
Practice Structure (Guided by John Wineland):
The practice begins with the feminine partner naming what she needs to express and how she desires to be held.
The masculine partner holds space for her expression, remaining present, steady, and open.
The practice concludes with both partners sharing what they loved and what they would have needed more of to deepen the experience.
John provides structured guidance throughout the practice.
