Yours/Mine: Tussle, Claim, and Command

If you’ve ever wanted to play with the energies of tussle, claim, and command, but weren’t sure where to begin, you’ll want to check out this 66-minute practice from the May 2022 Teacher Training Intensive. John will guide you and your partner on a journey through play and primal desire that ends in the warm embrace of partnership and divine love.
The practice begins with you and your partner reversing roles. The more feminine oriented partner will take charge and relieve the more masculine oriented partner of having to lead. After expanding your opposite capacities, you and your partner will enter into a playful, electrifying tussle for leadership.
The masculine partner will gradually step more and more into the energies of claim and command while the feminine partner offers her natural response of resistance or surrender. Later in the practice, you’ll tussle again to be the one who claims the other by saying, “Mine” as your partner responds with, “Yours.” When the practice comes to a close, you’ll wash each other in love and the feeling of home.
