Alive as Love : Osho Chakra Breathing
13m
Feeling connected to your aliveness, and to love, can at times feel overwhelming and possibly unattainable. You may feel that your breath is shallow, your body tight and your heart guarded. And yet, despite what blocks you from touching on aliveness and love, you feel a deep desire to be Alive as Love, not only for yourself, but for your intimate relationships and the world. How would your life change if you stepped out into the world Alive as Love?
In this 14 minute practice, from The Art of Sacred Intimacy, Austin 2024, John leads you through an Osho inspired Chaka breathing practice. You will be invited to use the movement of your body and breath to bring and move energy through your body, while staying connected to your partner.
Use this short practice to reconnect to love and aliveness and watch how it shifts how you show up in the world, and how the world responds to you.
How to do the Chakra Breathing: Stand with your feet hip width apart with a slight bend in your knees. Your hands will be in front of you where your root chakra is located. As you begin to breathe, in and out of your mouth, allow your hips to rock slightly, forward and backwards, as your hands move in and out from each other like you're pulsing a ball of energy.
When cued, move the pulsation of your hands up to the next chakra.
Location of Chakra’s:
Root chakra - base of your torso
Sacral Chakra - Just below your belly button
Solar PLexus Chakra - Between the base of your rbs nd your belly button
Heart Chakra - beside your heart
Throat Chakra - throat
Third eye chakra - between your eyebrows
Crown chakra - top of your head
