Death Practice and Dancing with Life
16m
In this recording from the June 2022 EMLT Intensive in Beyul, Colorado, John will guide you into an embodied experience of your own death. This is a powerful opportunity, especially as the year comes to an end (and we move into the winter months in the northern hemisphere), to refocus your life and consider…
• What is most important to you in your life?
• What do you need to prioritize that you haven’t been?
• What aspects of yourself might you want to let go of?
• What overlooked areas of your life do you need to celebrate?
If you are feeling somewhat disconnected from your life or purpose, this practice can help to bring you back in touch with the impermanence of life, the inevitability of death, and what is most important to you. It ends by inviting you to rejoice in all that Life still has in store for you.
Who this practice is for:
This practice can be done by practitioners of all levels.
Practice setup:
You’ll want to start this practice in a comfortable lying down position. Around the midway point, John will invite you to slowly stand and celebrate so you’ll want to have space to safely move.

If you have a question about this practice or any of the content in the Virtual Workshop, we highly encourage you to bring it to John during one of our monthly Office Hours calls that are included with your membership. You can find the dates and times of the upcoming calls here:
