Feeling Nature with Biological Breath
10m
The following practice was recorded live by John Wineland for his proprietary The Embodied Women's Relationship Immersion 2022. All rights reserved.
In this practice, from The Embodied Women's Relationship Immersion 2021, John leads feminine practitioners into a simple short breath practice called "Biological Breath" created by Emily Conrad and Cass Phelps. John will lead this breath while feeling the elements of nature.
For this practice:
You can begin this practice either seated on a zafu or cushion on the floor or you can be laying flat on your back on a mat if that feels good. The invitation would be to be closer to the earth for this particular breath practice. The breath technique is through a wide open back of your throat. You will inhale through the back of your throat and then exhale with a wide open mouth back through the back of your throat. You can bring in sound on the exhale if that feels good. This will begin to open your central column, relax your nervous system and open your body so that you can feel more through the body and feel the awareness in you that holds all of it.
