Bringing Awareness to Your Body

In this meditation practice, from the December 2020 Art of Spiritual Intimacy, John leads a masculine meditation practice on bringing and expanding more awareness in order to amplify and pulse the sensation of energy and feeling in the body and bring this as love to your partner and yourself.
This is a solo practice. Begin in a strong seated position. This can be at the edge of a chair or a couch or on the floor seated on a cushion or a zafu. Eyes closed, run your tongue along your lips to awaken them and then place your tongue on the roof of your palette. Then begin to breathe in and out through the nose down the back of the throat and into the back of the heart making it deep and wide. Start with a gentle inhaling and exhaling deep as you can without any strain. Stay with this breath throughout the practice.
