Loving Her Soul
43m
The following practice was recorded live by John Wineland for his proprietary Art of Spiritual Intimacy. All rights reserved.
In this practice, from the December 2020 Art of Spiritual Intimacy, John leads the masculine into “loving her soul” through the feminine’s range of first, second, and third stage expressions of her past. David Deida was the featured teacher for this workshop and is referenced by John in this practice.
Begin by sitting in front of your partner, gazing into each other’s left eye, and taking smooth breaths into your lower abdomen. The tongue is pressed gently to the roof of your mouth, the back of your throat is open, breathing first into the belly, then solar plexus, and then chest. Make the breathing deep and audible so your partner can hear and feel your breath.
Masculine partner: Once you have caught your partner’s rhythm, begin to gently lead the breath for both of you.
The end of the recording fades slowly and unfortunately loses John’s final words. He was encouraging participants to bring something from this practice to their partners now or in the future. We encourage you to do the same.
Music: Dhan Baba Naanak by Simrit
