Masculine&Feminine Integration Movement Practice Led by John&Nicholette Routhier

You may often find yourself feeling depleted and searching beyond yourself for love, nourishment and support. You want to learn how to source this nourishment from within you without having to change who you are at your core, and yet, this feels out of reach.
This is an intuitive movement practice led by John and Nicholette Routhier for the 2020 Advanced Practice Group to integrate masculine and feminine energies in the body—the love and consciousness that you are—as a blessing and an act of self-love.
If you want to source your nourishment from within, begin with this 36-minute practice.
Begin lying on your back, giving the ground your body's surrender as you completely let go. Receive the earth through your back body. Elongate every inhale and exhale to create more space with every breath.
Begin to move slowly in a way that creates more space in the muscles and joints of your body. Bring all of your awareness into your breath. Inhale deeply into a specific space of your body and as you exhale, allow your body to move, open, and make sound, in order to create more space.
Bring all of your awareness inside. Let it feel good. Feel how your openness, breath and movement gift the world with the truth of your body. Let your body surrender to the shapes created by the pulse of the universe moving through you. This is how you express self-love.
Become simultaneously aware of the core part of you that is still and unmoving, while you feel the part of you that is life itself. The love and consciousness that you are.
Make the last few minutes of your practice a prayer and a blessing to love. End in a posture of regal stability, like a yogi sitting on a mountain.
Technical Note: Nicholette's sound levels dropped inaudibly below the music at times, but we believe the transmission of the practice stands well enough on its own that we decided to make it available to the members of our Virtual Workshop.
