Opening as Relaxation and Pleasure

The following practice was recorded live by John Wineland for his proprietary The Embodied Women's Relationship Immersion 2022. All rights reserved.
In this practice, from The Embodied Women's Relationship Immersion 2021, John leads feminine practitioners into a gentle energy integration practice by grounding into the earth through gentle biological breathing, accessing the energy of the heart and opening as relaxation and pleasure while exploring textures in the range of Feminine expression.
For this practice: John will invite you at some point to bring in a texture or energy that the women were working with in this particular workshop. This invitation was based on expanding Feminine Range as an archetype or feminine texture and could include examples such as Sorceress, Queen, Bunny Rabbit, Warrioress, etc. Feel free to play with different energies at this point in the practice as an exploration.
You will begin lying on a mat on your back with your legs bent and feet flat on the ground. You can use a blanket or a small flat pillow under your head to protect your neck if that feels good. The breath practice is a form of biological breathing inhaling with the mouth open through the back of the throat exhaling with your tongue on the roof of your mouth. You can imagine inhaling into your heart, making your heart nice and full then exhaling as if you're letting the energy of the heart flow upwards through your central column and into your head. You can also bring a gentle rock in your pelvis rocking towards you with each inhale and then rocking away from you with each exhale. The invitation is to continue to bring more relaxation to your body as you breathe and find what feels good and pleasurable to you.
