Strengthen, Sensitize, and Expand Nervous System Capacity

Most men make it a goal to be able to hold massive amounts of feminine energy in an intimate moment. You want to be able to expand your nervous system capacity to sustain your intimacy and keep the passion flowing for as long as possible.
In this practice that John originally led for Masculine practitioners in his 90-day Depth and Devotion program, you will do the Ego Eradicator Kundalini yoga practice followed by a Chi Generator practice to strengthen and sensitize your nervous system for deeper intimacy.
If you want to expand your capacity for passion and energy, this 15-minute practice is a great one to do daily.
Begin in a seated position; grounding your feet, sits bones and sacrum. Imagine plugging your sacrum into the earth so that it spreads out and roots down like tree roots. Then root the point at the bottom of your heart down into the earth and lift the top of your heart up to the clear blue sky.
Lift and extend your arms out to a 60 degree angle with your thumbs cocked out, your fingers folded into the palms of your hands, your chest wide, and your biceps even with your ears.
Holding this posture, begin a Breath of Fire with a forced exhale through the nose and an automatic, natural inhale. Try to keep your arms straight, as if your arms are piercing outer space. Feel the lower part of your body grounding and the upper part reaching to the sky. This practice will clear space in your center column and arc line. Focus as much as you can on pumping your navel, so that your lower abdomen and hips fill with energy.
After 3 minutes of this breath, bring your thumbs to touch above your head, lift your fingers to the sky, take a big inhale, and hold it for 30 seconds. Squeeze your root lock/perineum/pelvic floor. Exhale while holding the pose. Then inhale once again and hold it. Feel your fingers plugged into the stars and the starlight dripping down into your body. Feel your abdomen, lower heart and sits bones grounding into the earth. Become a bridge of earth and sky.
Then slowly exhale and let your arms wave down slowly, like you're caressing every molecule of air. Bring your hands to rest on your upper thighs. Let your breath become smooth, relax your shoulders down and back, and lift your solar plexus up. Keeping your eyes closed, bring your awareness in for a few moments and notice what's different than when you began the practice. Notice if you can feel this moment a little more fully. Notice if there is more clarity and space through the center of your body between your throat and genitals. Maybe your mind is a little quieter.
Then take 30 seconds to stand up. Bring your legs hip width apart and bend your knees about 4 inches. Get very heavy through the soles of your feet, your hips, and the point at the root of your heart. Pull your navel in, tucking your sacrum. Bring your arms up to heart height (just below your shoulders) and hold them like you are hugging a tree. Your elbows are parallel to the ground. Your shoulders are relaxed. Your eyes are soft. Breathe smoothly and easily down into your abdomen. Bring your awareness down into the ground.
You will hold this pose for 8 minutes. Focusing on your breath and relaxation will get you through the practice and make your nervous system stronger. Notice where you cut corners - drop your elbows, lose focus on the breath, etc - because wherever you do that here is probably where it shows up in your relationships and the world. The practice is about getting still like a tree trunk. Feel deeper through the pain and discomfort and see if you can feel the pulse of life at the base of this moment.
For the final minute, flip your palms and raise them above your crown. Get absolutely still and feel what's beneath this moment. Feel the pulse of life beating your heart. Then slowly let your arms wave down as if you can stretch out to the walls.
For a few seconds, bring your arms once again out in front of your heart. Practice pressing your heart into your palms. Make your activated heart so big that it fills your palms. And then lower your hands down by your sides. Come out of your crouch. Relax your shoulders back and down. Close your eyes. Take 3 deep breaths remembering the rooting of your lower body and lifting of your upper body.
