Sun Shield: Fill Your Body & Heart with Protective Light
17m
The ancients used to think of the sun as a powerful protective force. If you are struggling with anxiety, fear, or self-doubt, you can breathe the sun deep into your heart, allowing it to wash away tension and leave you wrapped in warmth, healing, and protection.
In this 17-minute practice from the 2022 Embodied Men’s Leadership Training, John guides you through a brief exercise to wake up the body, followed by a visualization and simple mantras that will vibrate your cells and fill them with golden light.
If you are experiencing tension, stress, uncertainty, low energy, or a lack of nourishment, this practice will melt away looping thoughts, open your body-mind to the ever-present support of nature, and leave your subtle body energized and protected.
Who this practice is for:
This practice is not gender specific and can be done by practitioners at all levels.

You’ll start this practice standing with your feet hip-width apart. Begin to twist from your feet, allowing your arms to hang loose so they begin to slap against your body as you twist.
