Wim Hof Breath Practice
11m
You are looking for a practice you can do each day to deepen your breath and expand your masculine capacity, but you are not sure where to start.
This is a masculine breath practice adapted by John that is often used by free divers and in Wim Hof's trainings. The recording is from the May 2019 Embodied Men's Leadership Intensive in Mount Shasta, but it is a foundational practice he teaches to nearly all of his students, new and advanced, for cultivating embodied masculine practice.
The practice includes 3 rounds of 30 breaths. Sit in a grounded position on the floor or in a chair. You will inhale 100% of your air through your mouth, engaging the entire torso with your inhale, and then exhale 80% of your air through the mouth. After each round, you will hold the exhale and then hold the inhale in meditation as guided by John.
If you are seeking a foundational practice you could do daily to expand your masculine capacity, start with this 11-minute practice.
