You may be carrying a great amount of strain or stress and you’re looking for a way to truly relax. In the past, time in nature, vacations, or other get-aways have helped, but you don’t see an end in sight that would allow you to put everything down for a while. You want something that you could do right now that could give you some relief.
In this short Systema Breath Meditation that John taught live at the Embodied Men's Leadership Intensive in Mount Shasta, you will experience effortless pleasure, relaxation, and release.
Inhale through the nose and exhale through pursed lips. Inhale just enough so that your body is full with air, and as you exhale, ground yourself down into the earth. There should be no strain or stress, and the practice should be relaxing. Let it be a pleasurable breath. With every inhale, imagine you are filling every cell of your body and with every exhale, you are releasing toxins, negativity, fear and doubt.
If you’re looking for a way to drop into true relaxation in any moment, this 14-minute practice will show you how.
Note: During this meditation live, John guided the men in the room to look at another man. You can still do this practice while gazing out into the space in front of you without another person present.
