Growth in intimacy doesn’t move in straight lines - it moves in waves. At times, the wave feels expansive and effortless; at other times, it brings old fear, contraction, and unresolved pain to the surface - which is all part of the process.
Healing isn’t something we control or force, it emerges through love itself. When we orient to what John calls The Field of Love, we create a relational space that’s strong enough to allow whatever is arising to be met, without turning it into further wounding. Instead of building new patterns on top of old defenses, we begin to meet what’s surfacing with presence, openness, and devotion. This is how we become Artists of Love.
