For the masculine, there can be seasons of not knowing – where to source power, how to orient to the world, or what to trust as a compass for love and purpose. Across time and tradition, cultures have offered rites of passage through archetypes and shamanic rituals to guide men into depth, truth, and purpose. These ancient lineages held powerful ways of awakening the sacred masculine through the elements, the body, and the unseen. In our modern world, many of these threads have been lost, yet their wisdom and magic remain vital medicine for the times we live in.
In this 16-minute teaching from The Embodied Men’s Leadership Training (Panamint, 2025), John responds to the questions and longings of participants by exploring how to reclaim connection to our individual God Forms, how to work with archetypes to awaken forgotten parts of ourselves, and how nature, when we slow down enough to listen, offers wisdom that shape and reveal our next step.
