Posture of Victory Breath Practice

While we likely prefer not to, many of us feel more comfortable in the experience of challenge and failure than truly feeling, celebrating, and embodying victory. You may find that others experience you as more relatable when you are struggling, so expressing and embodying success can feel quite uncomfortable.
This is a seated pranayama breath practice with a meditation on Victory. John will guide you to feel and run energy through your body more fully, and from that place of flowing life force, sit in a posture of Victory.
If you want to experience success and victory from a full embodied, life-giving place, do this 14-minute practice.
This is a seated pranayama breath practice with a meditation on Victory.
Inhale powerfully through an "O" mouth and on the exhale, also through an "O" mouth, you will do a pelvic push straight up from the bottom of your genitals. If you are on your cycle, you will exhale with an "O" mouth, but you will not do the pelvic push. You will practice this breath for 3 rounds of 90 seconds each.
After each round of 90 seconds is complete, you will exhale fully and hold the breath out for as long as you can. Let everything relax and feel the shift in your body. Feel the part of you that is King or Queen and adjust your posture to align with that. Then take a deep inhale and hold the breath for as long as you can. Again, find your King or Queen and sit in a posture of Victory. What does Victory look like in your body? Feel Victory flowing from the center of your heart. Fill your mind with something in your life that you want to be victorious over and let your body-mind take that shape -- seeing Victory.
After you exhale to close each round, take a few natural breaths and notice the impact of the breath on your hormones, blood flow, brain chemistry, mind, etc. See if you can feel your body creating and distributing Chi. Become sensitive to the flow of Chi through your body -- feel the places where it flows freely and where it might be stuck. Feel free to move or adjust to open more space for that life force to flow.
Upon completion of your final round, take a moment with your spine tall, chest wide open, and feet and sacrum grounded. Notice how Victory feels in your body now.
