John and Nicholette Routhier will guide you through a practice in which you offer your body in surrender as a devotional offering to the Divine Masculine.
Begin by coming to hands and knees. Be sure you have a mat, rug or cushion underneath you because you will eventually come to standing on your knees.
Feel your hands and knees blending with the earth and from this place, move your spine in a way that feels good - rounding, arching, and undulating. Perhaps your movement is subtle, or quite large. Maybe there's a shake or wag of your tail, or swing of your hair. Feel the freedom through your spine and move with pleasure. What would feel really good right now? Relax your jaw and allow sound to flow out to express what you're feeling. Stay connected to the earth the entire time.
After a few minutes of this, while still feeling pleasure in your body, gently come to a seated position on your knees with your eyes closed.
Then imagine that the most trustable masculine form is standing in front of you - Shiva, Divine Presence, a man you trust - a perfect, beautiful, loving, present masculine. It's like you're saying, "I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm trusting myself, trusting the moment, and trusting the Divine Masculine in front of me."
Feeling the pulse of pleasure and love through your body, take the shape of what you consider the deepest "surrender." Come to standing on your knees and feeling the ground through your knees, imagine that your thighs are transmitting the deepest trust - maybe they soften, maybe they rotate open - offering in trust and surrender to the masculine presence in front of you. Then your hips will embody and express trust. Then your belly will become soft and vulnerable in trust. Your womb - what would it feel like to surrender your womb to this moment and to the Divine Masculine in front of you? Then your solar plexus - imagine that your solar plexus could peel open as an offering of love and trust to this incredibly present masculine essence in front of you.
Now imagine that your heart could blossom open in trust, like a flower. Then allow your shoulders to roll back and down in an offering to the divine. And maybe you open your arms wide to expose your heart, and make a sound of deep trust, like a sigh. It's as if your entire body is a sacrifice to divine, loving consciousness.
Finally, you will offer your throat in a supreme act of vulnerability and trust. With your thighs, womb, hips, solar plexus, heart, and throat open, imagine that your third eye opens in divine trust. Feel the divine gaze of the most trustable masculine presence you can imagine, and feel consciousness entering and filling these parts of your body that you've opened.
For a few moments, keep opening and receiving consciousness through your body. If something tenses in you, see if you can relax it. It's okay if you don't trust this. You are taking the shape of trust.
Allow the entire front of your body to peel open, creating more space for consciousness to fill you. Let out deep, pleasurable sighs as you allow your surrender to be a gift to the Divine.
In the last few breaths, allow the devotion in your heart to come through your body and your sighs. Feel your whole body as an incredible, radiant, juicy sacrifice of devotion.
Then very slowly come back to sit on your knees, bring your hands to your upper thighs, and see if you can retain whatever softened in you and truly enjoy this part of you that is a devotional offering: I am the offering of love.
Say to yourself softly, "I am the offering of love." Repeat it to yourself, as if your heart is speaking a poem. "I am the offering of love." "I am the divine offering of love." Feel how your whole body can soften around that truth.
