Sacred Intimacy does not happen by accident. It is cultivated through intention, devotion, and care.
When rupture or disconnection arises, as it inevitably does, it can feel disorienting. Where do we begin? What is mine to own? What is yours? What belongs to the space between us? Without a grounded framework, intimacy can start to feel like a guessing game.
If we are truly devoted to amplifying the field of love, we must be willing to meet these moments with clarity and courage.
Through the Four Pillars of Sacred Intimacy, John offers a foundational framework for both individuals and couples. These pillars illuminate where there are gaps, where there is avoidance, and where love is asking to be strengthened. They provide a path for repairing rupture, deepening connection, and maturing intimacy over time.
The Four Pillars are:
• Commitment to your own deep work
• The practice of intimacy itself
• Devotion to love above all else
• Sexual polarity
In this 10-minute teaching from The Art of Sacred Intimacy (Mallorca, 2025), John articulates this framework and how it functions as a living structure within a relationship.
This teaching is an invitation to examine your intimate life with rigor and honesty, to strengthen the pillars where they are weak, and to consciously turn inward toward your own heart while also turning toward the heart of another.
Sacred Intimacy is built. And it is built through practice.
