Advanced Pelvic Floor Breath

In this practice from the 2023 Teacher Training program, John will guide you through a rigorous diaphragmatic breath practice that will clear stuck energy in the central channel, open the heart, and that ends with you dropping into wide, spacious awareness.
Who this practice is for:
Because this practice involves bringing breath into specific areas of the pelvic floor and then circulating energy up the spine, it is most suitable for intermediate to advanced practitioners. If at any point you become light headed, dizzy, or hit an edge, slow down your breath or stop the practice.
NOTE: This breath practice will bring a lot of energy into the lower abdomen. If you are a woman and you are in the early to heavy part of your cycle, you’ll want to limit the intensity of your breath and go at about 20% of your capacity.
Practice setup:
This breath practice is meant to be done in a seated position on a meditation cushion.
