The Gift of a Woman Meditation

As a man, it can be difficult to cultivate devotion, especially within the context of the day-to-day aspects of life. You may crave a deeper appreciation of your feminine partner’s gifts, but especially when you’re feeling criticized or unappreciated, you may not be sure exactly how to get there.
In this practice, John guides you to look beyond the surface of the women in your life and into the essence of their deep feminine gifts. Begin by bringing your awareness to the root of your body below your navel, so you enliven and awaken this part of your body with every breath. Once you awaken that part of your body, breathe deeply into the center of your heart. Then widen your heart and connect the energy from your heart to the base of your body. Without losing this practice, bring to mind the first time you experienced the gift of "Woman," given to you freely and openly.
Notice what this memory does to your heart, spine and lower body. Focus less on what she was doing, but rather what this gift evoked in you. Breathe it in on the inhale and let every exhale fill your body with what was evoked, enlivened and experienced in your body.
If you have a partner, feel how this same gift comes through her. Let your body become fuller, taller, and wider with the recognition of it. Complete the practice by feeling how this gift of the Feminine comes through every woman, and commit to bring these sensations to your next moment with the Feminine.
If you want to begin cultivating devotion of the feminine by feeling beyond the surface of the women in your life and into the appreciation of their deepest feminine gifts, start with this 12-minute practice.
