If you have a public-facing profession or spend much of your time connecting with others, you may find yourself feeling drained, especially if you consider yourself empathic or “available.” You may be seeking a way to release energy that becomes “clogged” in your internal body, but you are not certain where to begin.
This is a QiGong practice John led for creating more space and health in your internal body. You can do this meditation either seated or standing. Connect the soles of your feet to the earth. Once you feel connected to the energetic flow of the earth through the soles of your feet, connect to your sacrum and extend it energetically down into the earth, creating a grounding tripod. Then, while keeping your body still, begin to breathe up through your nose, pulling up from the earth and receiving the earth's energy. You will inhale this energy into your kidneys letting them 'swell' with the earth's energy. Then as you exhale, you will allow any toxins, negativity, lethargy, or clogged energy stuck in your kidneys or adrenals to 'compost' into the earth. You will repeat this for your liver, stomach, genitals, and heart. The practice ends with pounding the organs with your fists, and shaking your body to release any remaining stuck energy.
This 16-minute practice is a great “go-to” anytime you would like to clear your internal body of toxic, negative, or stuck energy.
